In 2011, Willis Center celebrated 20 years of service to the Central Massachusetts community. Founded in 1991 to address the disparity in access to critical human and social services for underserved populations, Willis Center has worked in partnership with our neighbors, community leaders and funders to help thousands of people overcome their personal challenges and live healthier more fulfilling lives. This video and our 20th anniversary event celebrate the success of the people we have served and provide us an opportunity to give thanks to all our partners who helped make that success possible.

Willis Center houses the homeless, feeds the hungry, supports individuals working to live independently, provides therapy and residential programs to individuals struggling with addiction, fosters and provides residential services to youth, aids families to access support services in their communities, and works to combat the systemic oppression of people of color and the impoverished. Each year, we celebrate the contributions of African Americans to art, culture and history with the annual African American and Juneteenth Festival.
