Substance Recovery Services

"I never knew what 'community' meant before I came to Hope House. Now I understand how my actions affect me and my neighbors and how important it is to the community that is supporting me while I work to get my life on track." - Hope House resident

Hope House provides young men between the ages of 18 and 24 with a supportive environment and intensive services as they undergo a substance recovery process.

The structured, residential facility provides individual care to substance dependent young men and delivers services tailored to fit each person’s unique needs and strengths in a culturally competent manner.

If you or someone you know is in need of residential recovery services,
contact Hope House at 508-892-1010.

For other substance recovery services, contact the Willis Center at 508-799-0702.

On average, young men stay at Hope House between three and twelve months, during which time they participate in peer support, self-help groups and structured focus groups. The program offers the activities needed to assist residents as they acquire the skills and tools needed to return to the community, maintain sobriety and achieve quality in their daily living.

Addiction is a disease and doesn't discriminate based on age, sex, income, job, or geographic origin. It can affect anyone. Often those suffering are those we love most: our mothers and fathers, sisters and brothers, best friends, husbands, and wives.

Surrounded by culturally competent and caring staff and case managers and friends and family, residents receive needed help and support in regaining personal responsibility over choices.

They learn to look at their own behavior in terms of its affect on themselves and others. The supportive environment at Hope House helps young men recover from substance abuse and prepare to happily live independently.
