Fund Development and Communications Internship - Spring 2012
Willis Center seeks a creative, motivated, and experience individual to assist in all tasks from donor relationships to social media to grants through a part-time internship. Ideally, candidates will have some nonprofit experience and be available from 9:00am-5:00pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays from January to June 2011. This internship is a great opportunity to experience the variety of work completed in a Fund Development and Communications office, including donor relations, event planning, internal and external publicity, and grant writing.

Black Legacy Internship - Available during Fall, Spring, and Summer
Willis Center seeks individuals who have a desire to contribute to anti-racist community organizing work and want to help build racial equity to intern in Media & Communications, Research, or Video Production with Black Legacy. Each internship is structured for those able to commit 30 to 120 hours per semester and each internship is offered during the fall, spring, and summer. An interest in politics and race and topics ranging from institutional racism, health care disparities, and policies to create racial equity is an indicator that this might be the internship for you. Activities will help interns develop skills needed for work in the health policy and advocacy world, including legislative and policy research, analysis, multi-media health marketing for a variety of audiences, and/or community organizing.
